Arrwin,
I've registered already.
I'm driving up on Saturday with the wife (don't know when we are leaving). We may or may not join up with a drive to VT. We may join the group for a drink after dinner on Saturday night.

My wife and I go up to the area quite a bit and know it reasonably well. It's one of our last "free" weekends before child #2 (adopting from China in 2-3 months). So we're going to just relax and have a great time!!!

I'll see everyone on Sunday morning!

Congrats on child #2! Well...either way we will see you some time that weekend.

Bob and I will be sending out details on a meeting point and the drive up to VT for those that are interested. It will be a leisurely drive some time late Sat. morning.

Jack and all: We will post all the necessary details regarding meeting places, time, etc. Arrwin and I did a recon mission today so we have to map out the most fun routes. It's going to be a fun weekend!

Default Weekend Details (Meeting Location & Time)

Hi guys,

Thanks to everyone who have registered! This will be a great event for a great cause. If you still have not registered, there is still time!

The rain finally stopped and the sun decided to come out yesterday, so Bob and I scoped out some roads for us for this coming Saturday. I for one drove a total of 8hrs. and a full tank of gas. I'm sure Bob did just that and probably more so with his gorgeous new 997TT. What a car! As for the roads, what a treat we have in store for everyone.

We have confirmed the meeting details below:

Location: Starbucks (inside of strip mall)
113 Mill Plain Rd
Danbury, CT 06811
Map - Click HERE to view map
Time: 10:00am
Arrival:
Inn at Willow Pond
Historic Route 7A North
Manchester, Vermont
800-533-3533

The ETA to VT will be approximately 4 hrs. via backroads and some pitstops in between and should arrive at the Inn by 2:00pm. People can then check-in, decompress, go into town, drive some more backroads, shopping, etc.

Itinerary:
Saturday
10:00am - Meet at Starbucks (Danbury, CT)
~2:00pm - Arrive at INN
5:00pm - Informal Car Show at the Inn
6:30pm - BBQ Dinner

Sunday
10:00am - Depart for drive to Mt. Equinox
11:00am - Drive Skyline Drive (will be closed for our use)
12:00pm - Catered lunch
1:00pm - Prepare to head home

Saturday-only Participants
For those of you that can't make it for the weekend, you are welcome to join us for the ride up. If you drive out with us all the way to VT, we will be taking Skyline Drive, but it will be open to the public at that time.

Sunday-only Participants
For those that are driving up for Sunday only, please meet us at the Inn by 9:30am.

For everyone who plans to caravan with us, please shoot me an email (click on my avatar name and 'Send email to Arrwin') with your email and I will send you the route and map we will be taking.

Please let me know if there are any questions and we look forward to seeing everyone. It will be a great weekend!!
