OEM CD changer stuff for sale
I bought this stuff over eBay, and the 6 CD changer itslef is flawed, but the package might be of interest. I gave up after shortening my commute and considering the carpet change I would have to do for a correctintall in my 97 Cab. It appears that the actual unit is flawed - I can't make it eject the empty cartridge. The cartridge, the bracket for the changer to install in the car, and the cable (bought from a guy with a Boxster, but works correctly albeit longer than stock) are expensive if bought separately. The changer might be fixable - I frankly don't know what is going on there. It links up and shjows meaages on the radio, but can't eject. I paid a bunch for this, but will sell some or all of it for $100 + shipping costs. Send me e-mail.

No carpet change is necessary.
Have you consider contacting these guys http://www.beckerautosound.com/ for repair or trade?

actually, I have seen the trunk both ways, and if one is ****, the carpet designed for the unit is preferable. Not mandatory, but preferable. And in the end, if I carry a small case od CDs in the car I can readily exchange CDs while on the road. I basically decided to punt on the project. I have PM from DavisRiley and will consider what you said, however.
