Default $125 per ticket raffle for a '97 993 Cab to benefit neglected & abused dogs

there is a raffle that just started locally by a Boxer rescue league. Tickets are $125 a piece and they are limiting the tickets to 600. Pretty good odds. The vehicle..'97 993 Cab. Arena Red/Black/Black. Nice looking car.

see flyer for details. if the details are too small, let me know and I'll try to enlarge or post for you. doesn't look like they have the web page setup yet for me to send you too.

a great cause and the potential for a great car!!!!

Hmmm...... I might be up for this.

That car looks familiar though. I feel like I saw it on ebay a year ago or maybe it's been a Rennlisters car, etc...

That's a good looking color combination.

At first, I thought the raffle was for neglected Boxsters...oops.

I donate to as much animal charities, protection agencencies and societies as I can. This is also worthwhile cause with the added bonus of winning a 993! Too bad I live too far or I'd enter too.

you can enter even from Toronto. If you win car, you'd have to transport it and import it. not that expensive. especially with what that car must be worth up there. might be worth it!

Can you post or PM a larger version? That's the #1 color combo on my list. I'm also a Boxer owner and love dogs.

Thanks

John

I wonder if raffle tickets would be considered a tax deductible donation in this case?

hhhhmmm...good question Raptor. I'll ask the people at Coastal Boxer Rescue if that is doable. seems like the way to handle out of area raffle ticket buyers. just not sure on the separation of monies. I'll get an answer and post it.

Yes...I have been told by Coastal Boxer Rescue that you can just go to their website www.coastalboxers.org and make a donation in the amount for the raffle tickets. $125 for one and $300 for 3. there is a place where you can add a note stating that your donation is to purchase the porsche raffle tickets. Make sure you also include your name, address, city, state, zip, phone and email as well.

posted in a related thread in the off topic section...

As expected, I heard back from Coastal Boxer Rescue promptly. It is, indeed, them and no red flags. Purchasing tickets now. Good luck to those who participate!
