Default Needed! Stock Shift Rods (you knew this was coming, right?)

Anyone? Anyone?
Bueller?

If anyone has converted to the RS Rod and no longer wants their old shift rod (with the floppy rubber thing in the middle) I could use it... PM please!

Mark,
As soon as I get the new rod from you and change it out, I'll have one available to send.

I'm sure the kind folks at LAPD would be delighted to offer a batch discount......

(I speak from experience. Not a good one at that...)

I think yours is on it's way to you... assuming I have the right Albert, it went out today. Should be there in a couple of days.

Totally understand, I am just trying to get more stock rods so we can get the modified rods to people faster. Turn around time is rather long at this point.

Mark,

According to dcauto's website, this part number 993.424.020.00 goes for $81 a piece and ships within 48 hours...... that seems a little expensive for what you want to do with it.

yup, agreed!

The part is about $70 new... sometimes the prices on their site aren't reality.
EDIT ($70 for the stock rod part needed to make the RS-Style Rod, the RS Rod is $360-380!)

MarkD, I can check for you to see if PH has any. I know a 96 C4S just came in but it was hit pretty hard I don't think the drive train survived. And there was a 95 Cab that was there not sure if the shift rod is still available.
