Option code 718?
Just picked up a '95 today and was checking things over. There is an option code 718 just after 650 for the sunroof. I can't find it on any option decoders.

Haven't joined the PCA yet - I intend to. I'm out in Oldham County. I haven't seen many 993's in the area. Have you done the obligatory picture post? Love to see the "New Ride".

Car has always been in Louisville with 2 previous owners. No pictures yet, but it is polar silver/gray with stock 16" wheels. I have a buddy in Prospect with a white supercharged 993 with RS body parts. A few guys in the PCA have 993's as well. I am not new to Porsche. Just sold my RSR clone last month. Had a 930 before that and in the past an '87 Carrera and a few 928's.

I think I saw that car last week. I dabble in selling a few cars. A wholesaler brought it down to a friend of mine's dealership. Was the car serviced at Stein? It had to be that car not many Polar Silver cars around. The front bumper had a little crack in it from where the wholesaler hit a possum.

That is it. He had the crack fixed. I purchased the car to be a daily driver alternate to my truck. Only things that need immediate attention are the worn drivers bolster and weak hood struts.

I knew that had to be the car. Good luck with it, the car looked to be in pretty good mechanical condition. And you are right the bolster was the worst part. The 993 board is a great place to get ideas. We can help you spend your money quickly around here.

M718 code on U.K. Car
Hi -I live in South Africa and am looking at a 993 that was imported from the U.K. -it has a m718 option code listed under the hood -is this possible if it was not exported to the US? In other words could 1994 models have been re-vinned to 1995 but not exported to the US?
