Default Extreme Motorcars?

Hey guys, I found this picture and was very intrigued to the front bumper. I figured I would post a picture here and see what everyone thought about it.

Also if anyone has had experience with these people/items. Please spill the beans. Gracias in advance.

Doesn't look too bad in that picture but I would like to see some more before saying yes/no. Looks kind of 997-ish though

Just looked at their web site....they have some "different" ideas to say the least. I didn't see that bumper anywhere on the site.

not feeling it. the parking lamps look too big IMO, and it gives off too "modern" of a look. i really like the looks of the OEM turbo bumper on the 993 with the turbo s front spoiler or the regular NB front with rs bits.

I believe it's called the 997 Style GT3 RS bumper for 993. http://mashaw.biz/Coachwork3993.asp

Looks better on a Wide body than a NB just my opinon.

Those pictures are from a ebay listing for xtrememotorcars.com. No affiliation here.

Old linky: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...AQ:MOTORS:1123

You will have to provide the 997 factory turn signals and you will have to drill your own tow hook hole. Answers to questions I have for them when I was looking at them.

The lip would look better painted. I also think the bumper would look right at home on the track, with the exception of those huge fog lights.

The lights do seem out of proportion. Multiple personality 993 anyone?

The more of it I see, the less I like it. Doesn't fit the car, maybe because like everyone said, the signal markers are gigantic!

The straight air ducts on the link that CAHRERA ^^^ in his post looked pretty cool. (Foglight delete) I am guessing they are that large to provide a directional blinker.

tchubacha - I am assuming you decided against the idea, can you tell me why. Always like to hear the negatives.

Thanks

I wanted a more modern look to my car and this would have basically turned it into a 997 gt3 front. Nice to have a "spare" front bumper while I am working on the other other one. Always wanted to learn how to paint and do some body work. So it would have been pointless to get the same turbo s bumper that I have now. But time is limited now on this slippery slope with HID, pss9, rs sway bars, strut brace, and three spoke steering wheel (that needs to be dyed first) and then some waiting to be installed. So maybe in the future, it may get in the queue. But I think it would nice with the factory 19" 997 turbo rims that I am trying to "make it fit" now on my c4s. So it's kind of a two look setup that I was going for.
Here is another link to a similar bumper I believe.
