I feel that if you want a 997 with aerokit/-7GT3, you should get one. As far as I'm concerned, that does NOT belong on any 993. I really don't like it. Sorry.

Not diggin' that Shaw one. But I like the picture in the initial post with the carbon fiber lower lip.....seems very DTM. I think its a nice way to update the look of the car, since we all agree the 997 is what should have come after the 993, why not have the best of both?

Why do we want to make our cars looks like the 997? IMHO, our cars are the prettiest Porsche made, ok, maybe the 3rd or 4th after the 959, 550 spyder, & 365 speedster.....

For the same reason we put 996TT rims, steering wheels, turbo wings on non turbo cars....and RUF parts ...........cause we can and usually its a tasteful way to update with loosing the integrity of the car from an enthusiasts point of view.
The Shaw front end, I think looks like crap, but if you look at the original post's picture, the lower lip mimics the factory widebody aero kit, but with updated air intakes. I still stand by I think it looks great and would really make those that know, take a second take if seen on the street
just my .00002 cents
btw, you ready for set # 2 yet?

I like how it looks in the first picture, but I think its because a lot of the detail is hidden and the marker lights don't look as big.
The only thing i really like about it is that it gives the front bumper a nice slope outward, instead of back under the car on the bottom...if that makes any sense. Just a nice line, but the overall design is meh

Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't! I just want the option. But you guys are right, those marker lights are huge. Maybe have them smoke since my car is black. But that is waaaay down the line and maybe by then I may run across one in person and see then. Currently I am still waiting for the DACH sport cat so I can do the engine mount reinforcement and rs motor mounts upgrade while I'm in there. hint, hint.

Just and update... I know there hasn't been a great response, but at least Chris is sticking in there..
My whole issue with this kind of stuff is the quality. I am quality over price any day. Any how this is what I received from Jeffrey at Extreme
"ok, that is out 993/997 Gt3 style front bumper shows $1150.- in our ad, it does require the 997 Turn signals we sell for cost at $395.- / $495.- list, so that is $1545. for all + $95.- shipping"

It's not that I think the bumper is ugly, I just never got why so many 911 owners always want to make their car look like the new model. Well I would understand, if we owned 996's. IMHO, I think Porsche got it right the first time with the 993, & we don't need any stinking body kits.
I got to hold off on the cats for now, money is way tighter then I want it to be.
