WTB: 964/993 center console, the long one between seats, condition is unimportant, I'll be cutting it up

also wtb the fasters for the plastic ABS cover in the trunk

 

What are your plans for it? (I don't have a spare, just curious).

Bill: How soon do you need the console. I bought one from LAPD for $100, and have stripped, sanded and painted it body color. I may not use it - haven't installed it yet to see how it looks.

 

There's really no big hurry, global warming seems to have bypassed this part of the world

 

I want to make an abbreviated version like this

 

It's now called Global Weather Change since many had a hard time buying the Global warming tag when the average temperature here in December was -14C.

How hard are these to change out? I have a black leather covered version sitting in my garage waiting to be installed. When the Tan vinyl covered version comes out, you can have it for shipping, but I have been procrastinating for about 6 months now!

 

They are fairly easy to take out and install - about 6 screws, if I remember correctly. 5-10 minutes.

I'm actually looking for a nice black console as well, so if anyone has one...

 

Raptor - I've forgotten, what color is your car? Reason I ask is I had thought about doing the same thing and I wondered what it looked like to do this in arctic (or polar).
