Default PPI Recommendation in Atlanta Georgia

Hi All,

I'm considering buying my first 993. Can anyone recommend a good shop near North Atlanta to perform a PPI?

Also, what do you think is a fair market price these days on a manual '96 targa ~43k miles?

Thanks!

I used Alan Kidson at German Car Repair when I bought mine. He's in Roswell, GA.

"north Atlanta" is a pretty large geographic area. Which part?

If Alpharetta I recommend this shop

http://napaautoshop.com/

The owner, Kerry Singley (SP?) is a long time PCA member in Atlanta and knows these cars well. I just had him do an oil change on mine in the last 45 days or so. I would trust Kerry to do a solid PPI

This would be easier to Search for. I've personally recommended Ryland's in Murietta twice:

I can see on another thread that the seller wants $38K. Do you plan to keep the car for a while? That Marble/Black wood interior may affect resale. If you can make a deal at $37K, I think that would be OK for everyone.

+1 on bith.. Although I'm not sure Kerry will be the one doing the PPI. I've used both groups and I keep going back to Alan. at German Car Repair

I, too, recommend Alan Kidson.

I was looking to purchase a 993 in North Atlanta this week that had been "inspected" by a shop selcted by the seller. As expected, the car passed with flying colors, needing only an alignment/wheel balancing. I then hired Alan to perform an independent inspection and he uncovered a myriad of problems requiring $4-$5k in repairs. Needless to say, I am not buying the car.

But, on a positive note, I highly recommend German Car Repair for PPIs in the North Atlanta area.

Default Snellville

Hi - First post here. I am going to look at a '95 C4 cabriolet tonight. I need someone to do a PPI in the Snellville/Lawrenceville area. Any recommendations?

Thanks,

P.S. Sorry for the hi-jack.

John
