Scott-- Yes for Corral & Parade Lap.

Also attending Thursday's Opening Reception, that is, if the logistics work to get out to Monterey in the 1st place.

If so, look forward to meeting you & your Arena Red Metallic Cahrera soon, maybe at the winery run Fri or Tarpy's Roadhouse Sat.

Default Tarpy's confirmed for Sat dinner

Conveniently near track. Pelican Parts Forum folks have the following reservation: "Porsche" group on the patio, 3:30 - 6:30. Dinner reserved for 24 @ 7:15 PM. See thread "Monterey Historic Races-Aug. 14-16...roll call/info."

Should be perfect to check out the p-cars in the p-king lot, meet folks, grab grub & brews.

For us RLers, I randomly requested a reservation for six on the patio from 3:30 - 6:30, & ten folks for dinner @ 7:15 PM. Under my name, Jäger.

IF y'all like this idea & want to pal in with Pelican Parts, the organizer is Brian, member "Wyvern." I'm not a PP Forum member, so if this is a go, would be great if someone contacts him or posts something about Rennlisters being there, too.

Tarpy's Roadhouse; 831-647-1444; 2999 Monterey Salinas Hwy; Monterey, CA 93940

I'll let you kow what I hear from Tarpy's. If this gains momentum, I'll try to start a related Monterey get-together thread here.
JD, etc.-- Good news for good food, drink, & Porsche fans: Just heard back from Tarpy's. Manager's planning to add us (10) to Brian's Pelican party.

5 minutes from track to cold brews. Who's interested?

"Fri: Wine valley drive & winery tour, 10AM - ~5PM"

The August 14th "Pelican Wine Tour" the weekend of the Laguna Seca Porsche
historics plans a drive south on Carmel Valley Road (G16) to essentially HWY 101,
a distance of about 50 - 60 miles to the winery. This road is basically a one lane
road for two way traffic in many parts and as such is very dangerous. Besides this,
the road is very rough with many blind corners. The road for even a good sport bike
motorcycle rider can be challenging and dangerous with dirt & rocks on the road.
A safer drive to the winery is to drive east on Hwy 68 and then south on 101.

Bottom line: Avoid the drive or drive extremely carefully avoiding those that consider
the drive a 'fast rally' to the end.

Anyone Caravaning down Sunday morning? I'm leaving from Fremont. Not sure if I'm going on Saturday but Sunday for sure. Will be there for the Pcar Corral and Parade Lap.

I see the corral is full and there is a waiting list. Last day to register is Friday July 31st. Through the Monterey PCA.

It's been finalized. We'll be in Carmel for the Concours by the Sea on Tuesday and then back in town on Friday for the races.

Look forward to seeing some of you and your 993's soon!
