For me, one word says it all, “WOW”!
Terry (TMc993)- A special thanks for hosting and welcoming an impact bumper to come along.
Great cars, great roads, great weather and a good group of fanatics!

Looking at these pics while listening to various 993 sound clips (and after a few "pop" LOL) was as close to driving as I'll be able to get until the white stuff stops. Thanks for sharing. Nice turnout, a group that size makes for a great day.

Everyone,
"Thanks!" are not necessary...All I did was propose the run...It's the participants that made it such fun...I'm just glad that everyone had a good time.
I was thinking (A dangerous activity I know) that to counterbalance the frigid conditions of the 2007 and 2008 New Year's Eve Runs, we should make this a semi-annual event with a Summer Solstice Run . I believe the 2009 summer solstice is on June 20, which is a Saturday...Not the best time of week for avoiding summer tourists and cyclists, but great driving weather nonetheless.
Maybe the idea will give us something to think/scheme about during the winter months....I also think it's time for a new route or two.
Happy New Year everyone!

We started in Dahlonega, which is about 60 miles NNE of the center of Atlanta. Most of the run was in the Chattahoochee National Forest and included Highways 60, 19/129, 180, 75 and a few additional back roads...There are some incredible driving roads spread over the northeastern corner of the state and up into NC and TN.
