I have a non hollow spoke version from my C4S that an 8 inch bolt went through on 18 heading back from Olympia to the east side of the state. Been planning on doing something similar with it... looks cool

Drill a hole, and cruise around the circumference with a jig saw. Takes about 2 minutes.
