Wonder how this grey dash would look replacing just the black dash without replacing the rest of the dash?

Anyone have a pic?

Is that a newly ordered piece?
The reason I ask is I so much want that dash, but would also want to do the lower dash and doors. Other than the whole cost issue, the thing I do NOT want is the multiple colors of grey that Classic Grey often becomes with differently aged pieces.

Is it my imagination or does that look more like marble gray than classic gray?

it is classic grey and it has been in its original packaging and not in the sun since 1997. i doubt it has changed colors.

That is a great price for a NOS part. About $5,900 list from Porsche, if you could get it. I would buy it, except that I think it would look odd with the upper leather and lower knee bumper in vinyl. This is a good deal for someone. 6XL is Classic Gray.

One could also argue that for the same price (900$) or probably less, you could buy a used vinyl dash off of fleabay (condition won't matter, or use your existing dash) and have it custom upholstered in any color leather and stiching (perhaps deviated?) you want. I know for fact that Paul Champagne over at the 944 board makes great stuff at very reasonable prices. Then there's also www.928leathershop.com. Very reasonable prices. No affil.

It does look like marble in the first pics, but look at the grey around the number tag...looks darker like classic there. I think it's just the lighting in the first pics.

Can I assume that Tischer Porsche is the same as Tischer BMW of GetBMWParts.com fame? If so those guys are the Sunset of BMW parts providers. Good work.
