Interesting show on HDTV Theatre about a high end used car dealer in CT.
Recent episode was called "Porsches, Porsches, Porsches!"

Lots of interesting cars on that show, just started watching it a few weeks back. Never knew what the numbers on the wheel were for or anything about the number of screws on the horn grills.....

I just got done watching the Porsches episod. It would be better if I didn't watch it.
I generally enjoy the show. But his constant calling the car "Porsh", auction listing that ends on Saturday morning Eastern time and some other things that they did or didn't do bugged the hell out of me.

It's a good/interesting show, but does give you some insight as to what shows up at auctions like RM, etc. for better and for worse... Also, I'm curious about where the money really is in it... as most of the cars he's buying, shipping to CT, then shipping back to CA or FL seem to net him $5-$15K... which isn't exactly a windfall considering all the running around that happens... I will say that Cars & Coffee isn't to be missed if you happen to be in SoCal on a Saturday...

I began watching several weeks ago; think I've tevo'd every episode. Looks like nothing but reruns anymore. Sure wish they'd do some new shows.
Here's a link to their Ebay Store. They've got that '55 bug currently listed:

Nearly 30 years ago, I bought my first car through Wayne when he was in Glastonbury, CT. Not only does he have a great dealership he owns one of the best auto body shops in my area. I still stop by his dealership (F40 Motorsports in Portland CT) a couple times a year. Walking through his show room is a treat, its always littered with classic and exotic cars. His web site is www.F40.com.

I like the guy based on what I see on the show. But please, please, somebody, explain to him how to pronounce Porsche. While you there, tell his old coger mecanic guy (I really like him based on what I've seen and heard of him on the show) how to pronounce Lancia as well. Although that's optional. Hint: It's not related to Sir Lance.

the best part of the "Porsche" episode was that green RSR in the background when they were talking about the fcar. Think it was a 73... IIRC, the plate was "73 RSR". Wow. Wanted to see more of that one and the orange one further down the line.
too bad they didn;t spend more time on car stuff. The time spent on the eBay auction really didn't do much for me. Then they kinda left us hanging. As if it would never sell afterwards... ah well, pretty cool show.

I bought my 964 from Wayne in 2006, and he's done a lot of work on an old mustang I used to have. Good shop, good guy.
