Beautiful.

I like the stock rockers better. Among other things, the stock rockers accentuate the rear fenders better.

Regarding the lower rocker panel strip: Tough call.

I would typically say that you should go with the stock/black panel, but, given the overall aesthetic of your car (RUF mirrors, RS splitters, C2S grill, shaved washer nozzles, etc.), I would almost lean in the direction of keeping the white strips.

If you get tired of the white (or if the painted finish turns out to be too prone to chips, etc. (relative to the stock panel, which seems to be some sort of "impregnated" black plastic that doesn't really chip), you can always revert back to stock.

I can't wait to see your car in person.

Most rocker panels have that. My 94 3.6 Turbo had a hole in the same place under the plastic rocker in front of the rear wheel, it came like that from the factory

Congrats on your car Sid. That is one of the cleanest cab I've seen even before the paint job.

Guys: Many thinks for the nice comments. I had meant to share my experience with United AUto Collision as a great NorCal shop, rather than fish for compliments.

Cactus: I have Bilstein Row M030. Maybe the white lower rockers make it seem higher. Or maybe I just didn't get it low enough.

Noah: Factory, from Gert. But I just added ducts, so I'm not sure yet which look I like best. Any thoughts?

Andreas: Yeah, I actually had to buy new lowers since the old ones were missing with the Gemballa skirt on.

Simon (and Andreas): Yes, they are Ruf mirrors.

Cabrio993: You are the foremost reason I incurred the latest slide down the slope so dramatically. Last (this?) year you dissed the side skirts with a "SoCal ricer" comment to which I initially took great umbrage. However, after reflection and wounded ego (although the skirts were on the car when I bought it, so why I felt anything is unclear), I embarked on this latest exercise. Also, I liked the look of you Avatar.

Eric other: The Gemballa skirts actually did function as brake coolers. They routed air from the scoop thru the rocker to the brakes.

Harry: As usual, I really, really appreciate your input. Harry's ride is pristine and quick and he has probably forgotten more than I will ever learn about 993s.

Alvin: Cool. Many thanks; especially appreciated coming from a pro. Thanks for the referral to Gabe, too.

Sid

Are the splitters RS splitters? They don't look exactly like RS spliiters...they look a bit different. But they look good.

Nice.
You made the right choice going with the stock rocker covers.
