I going to go with the tilt kit. It's been hard as h@ll to get just the extra washers for the tilt, so I just bought a new set.

When I had my ERP mounts (non-tilt) installed, my mechanic didn't have to disassemble much, IIRC. I don't remember the exact procedure, but it sure sounded pretty easy. It must be different for the tilt kit?

i've been looking at the assembly at lot, it looks like you can drop the whole rear suspension as a unit, just the 4 sidepanel bolts, brake lines, abs wire, half shafts and parking brake cables would need to be disconnected to drop the whole thing. Question is how far does it need to go to replace the sidepanel mounts. And to get it all the way out w/o further disassembly the trans would need to be out

Hi. I have a 1994 ROW c2 6spd. Its mianly fast road with amybe 1 or 2 track days per year. I am very keen to make this modification. please can someone advise the part number I need to complete this on my road car? I have read the thread but a little confused. There appears to b a Porsche OEM GT2 based solution and also an aftermarket. I would like advise on price and which where I could find the aftermarket solution. Should I stick with Porsche OEM or is it much more expensive

Cheers - Macca

Hi Bill....
by kinematic arm, i assume that is the toe link (rear most, lower link)? Do you have plans for the stock ones? if not and you would like to sell them, please PM me....
I think you saw my post last week, I managed to do considerable damage to my car, and the right toe link is on the list of broken pieces.... in time, the tilt klit is in my future, but today it just get it back to running....

and while we are at it.... anyone have a lead on a right front control arm?

these are the arms

camber, kinematic and lower control are all being replaced for sure, you can have any of them gratis (you pay shipping), they are the original '95 arms, they are prime candidates for monoballs.

i'm still in the air about the toe arms, they were new as of 2k mi ago. I have to see what I can afford to do, the recent unpleasentness has not been kind to my finances.

Ah.. darn, I assumed they were the same description...
Thanks for the offer... Best I can tell the damage was confined to the toe link, (it is now an interesting shape)... I still need to disassemble everthing else and take a closer look, I can only hope there arent more surprises.

best of luck with your project... looks like a fun one.

Sounds like a great excuse to buy Tarett toe links. I believe they're legal under G class rules, and allow adjustability down the road (if you ever change classes). Best of all, you can probably buy a pair for less than the cost of replacing one OEM part, and you get monoballs with 'em.

http://www.tarett.com/items/993-964-...lnk-detail.htm

No affiliation, just a happy customer .

i'm considering the Tarret toe links. Another nice feature of them is optional positive lock. You eliminate the eccentric toe adjustment and use the Tarrett turnbuckle. I like this because apparantly the toe adjustment can drift w/ the eccentircs(pics back on p3).

Hi Bill and others.

What do I need to buy (part numbers and rough prices) to make these modifications to my street car? Mounts? any bolts?

Thanks in advance.

Awesome as always Bill.
I have the GT2 Tilt bushing sitting in my garage if anyone is interested in more pictures.
I don't have the budget for all that stuff myself, so I'm going with the GT2 tilt bushings, Tarett toe links and the balance stock.
