1997 993 Coupe - bit of help to confirm value
Hi All,
I'm looking to upgrade from a 87 Carrera to a 993. I am looking at a 97 Coupe tomorrow and was wondering if I could ask for some feedback regarding the price and near-term work to expect. I've searched the forum and found a great deal of info, just hoping for additional info specific for my situation.
The car is Arena Red, always garaged, service is current, 21K miles. Options: 18" tech wheels, rim caps with crests, comfort seats, hi-fi sound, litronics, remote CD, soft leather rear, supple leather.
Car looks fantastic and has been driven regularly...weekends, etc. so it has not sat idle for an extended period.
Asking $30K.
Thanks for advice in advance.

Welcome to RL. From the basic info you've provided, it sounds like the car is extremely well priced. If the history checks out (service and damage) and it gets a clean PPI, it sounds liek a great buy. Good luck.

Sounds too good to be true. Be careful. Should be priced WELL over $40k. But it's hard to tell
right now as assets of all kinds get clobbered in price. This won't last long though kids as the
market begins to decide that "oh ya, printing a trillion dollars.... hmmmm that's kinda like INFLATION isn't it" and all hard assets will rocket up in price and those holding dollars will be crying in their
$10 beers.
