1998 993 C4S 96k miles FOR SALE (crosspost)

Jeff, FWIW, I went through three C4S in the past year and a half (the proverbial 993 addiction!). I sold my last car a couple of months ago and though I'm in Canada, our market became closely tied to the US market due to now now non-existent currency parity. When I priced my 91k mi. C4S, I did a national search in the US and found that the median asking price for a 70-100k mi C4S was low $40k.
I think the problem right now is that the market for mostly any toy has evaporated as a good portion of most people's wealth and buying power has evaporated over the past three weeks and a good number of people seem to be fear ridden about their wealth proposition for the future. As someone I was speaking with the other day suggested, if you want to sell an asset in this market, take the low range of the value and price it below that number by a good margin. I think the $33k C2S is a good example of where these cars need to be priced for a quick sell in today's environment.
It's a bad time to sell. Hang on to it if you can.

The dollar is now worth over 20% more in Euros than it was just a short time ago.
With an effective 20-some percent price hike, I think fewer Germans are interested, and the demand has fallen for our cars.
I think I'll keep mine.
