Default Arrrrgh!! RUF's rub the front springs!!!

I recently got 18" RUF RCT's (think 965) with ET61 offset. They are rubbing the front springs!!! The car is normal ride height 1995 993. Tires 235/40/18. Tires dont seem to rub, just the rim of the inner wheel.
Suggestions please?????

Hmm,
Typical 18" 993 offsets are 50/52 front and 65 rear. Your front offset is certainly not too far from suggested, but may be just enough.

Put a small spacer up front. You may only need 5mm clearance. Not a big deal.

I am running 19" RUF's on a NB car...no rubbing issues. However, I am also running PSS-9's, where the spring diameter seems a bit smaller than stock (just what I remember).

A good question though...what is your suspension and alignment settings (i.e. do you have lots of camber in the front?).

cheers,

Mike
