Absolutely stunning. Makes me feel wimpish for considering not flying to KY to drive mine home to AR.

Amazing way to start your ownership/enjoyment experience.

My wife was driving at the time - I rolled down the window to take the picture and told her to floor it if the bear decided to charge us. I've seen quite a few bears while living in Alaska, but that might be the closest I've come to a brown bear - while sitting in a Porsche no less!

Ran into 3 Porsches while driving the Going to the Sun Road in Glacier National Park, including a 993 cab and 997 C4S. Didn't see any for the next couple thousand miles until we got way up in the Yukon and passed an old 356 out in the middle of nowhere. Looked like the 356 might have been on a road trip as well.

I am also a fan of nature close-ups (Yellowstone). This was just one of a herd of about 20 that walked by. The Ranger advised no flash (Duh), and don't look them in the eye.

amazing. having driven that drive, including the Cassiar Highway, I would have to say it proves what an amazing car the 993 really is. How did the car fair on the Cassiar?

Wow, wow, wow!!!
What great photos and what a great trip. Good thing you had a bra!
Makes me look so forward to my trip from Portland to LA, with a stop in Monterey next month. I am also packing a tent and plan a camp in the redwoods.
That Sony(and you) take beautiful photos. I just got a Nikon D90 DSLR w/HDvideo and will post pix of my trip.
Thanks for the inspiration.
Jody
