Default foglights not working?

Hey, couldn't find anything related to this via search. the fogs in my 95 stopped working recently, may have been associated with an accident I had. The fuse is fine. The foglight switch has a dim light on it, but when you pull the switch it goes dark (instead of its usual brightness) and the foglights do not come on. However, the markers in the foglight assemblies do stay on. Any thoughts on why this would happen?

Thanks in advance....
Dave

Are your backup lights working? They are on the same fuse (in '96 anyway). I had my foglights and backup lights go out. Fuse was fine. Two problems were found after several trips to a shop. The connection for this circuit on the back of the fuse box was bad. That was fixed. Then I had intermittent problems. If foglights worked, backup lights worked. And vice versa. Turned out to be a relay (right next to fuse 14-I think-the one for the fogs and backup lights) with a short. Replaced the relay and all is finally working.

Good luck,
chuck

Solved the problem. Foglights in my car are on same circuit as the license plate lights, which had a blown fuse from my accident. I repaired the LP lights last night and voila, foglights.

They are supposed to be on the backup light circuit. go figure.

Thanks Chuck.
