Killer Pictures...
What Program did you use to enhance the color on the first few pics?

Can you send me a high res. of the first 4 pics?

Zico,

Great pics. That is one awesome 993. There is a DISTINCT difference in the hip area between these 2 cars.

The 996 GT3 is a great car, unfortunately it's a little lacking in the looks department IMHO.

Thanks for sharing.

Pong: may lack in the looks, but surely gains in the "hardcore" feeling. It's pure Porsche. Well both are very pure, in fact.

Can you tell us the ups and downs, ins and outs between the two cars? There is something that draws me to the 993 (especially a 993 RS), but my mechanic keeps telling me I should look at the 996. What do you think?

993 Has the looks IMO.. However I do like the looks of the 996 GT3 & Turbo. To me they are more Porsche than the standard 996. As far as the car in general; I have not driven one but my last two DE students have been 996 TT & 996 GT3 That said, I felt some of what they are capable of, probably more-so than most 996 owner experience driving one... OMG.. These cars are sweet . particularly for the $$. Not turning into a water pumper here, but they were pretty damn sweet!

I know they are totally different, that's why I'm asking! I drove a 993 every day for 2 years and loved every day. Driving a 986S is good, but not the same. Is there something a 996 offers that is worth more then what a 993 has to offer? Yes, they are both completely Porsche, but air vs H20 how do they compare?

You can get a 996TT these days for mid-40's. It blows my mind. The value just can't be beat. And it has the same engine block as a 964/993
