Definitely let the board know which CC insert you have (2 or 3 disc, flanged or not). I am thinking of the 3 disc CC since stuffing these things into a Supercup is hardly a real "muffler". I also don't want a 3 dics set up to sound and feel like a UPS truck.
My next race is at NJMP, New Jersey's new race complex. Next will be Summit and then, hopefully, Carolina Motorsports Park.

After talking with Ken (really helpful guy), I decided to go with the 2 disc 3.5" setup. I don't think the 3 disc product will fit, but I'll let you know - and will post some pics - this coming week.

I also went with the 2 disc CC insert when I got tired of repacking the fiberglass baffles. IIRC one of the reasons I went with the 2 disc set-up was because the 3 disc wouldn't fit.

I went w/non-flanged as the flanged versions weren't available back then (IIRC). For my set they were a very tight fit and would take some effort to removed them if I wanted to run straight, catless, exhausts.

Glen - there are two holes 90 deg apart on the trailing surface of the Supercups that are used to mount turndowns. I suspect that I can use some hardware to tack the inserts in so they can be easily removed. I'll let you know this week .

I plan on using either a through-bolt or two smaller bolts to hold it in. Might have to cut and fab some right-angle pieces of aluminum if the trailing end of the CC's don't line up perfectly with the bolts.
