And if you go for a test drive, we could do a BTR VS Turbo R speed run.

Good luck. And the car is in Dallas.
Patrick,

I will likely take you up on this offer!

Mr. Mer,

You are basically in my back yard as I live in Los Altos CA. If you want to try out a Ruf BTR first hand, I'd be happy to meet up and talk about the BTR in detail.

We recently visited Ruf in Dallas, and I drove Marvin's car in person. This thread has a little more detail on the trip and a few pics of his car as well.

CP,
WRT your location, what a coincidence, just 80 miles away. The drive up to Los Altos is always fun. I was planning on coming up there to look "other" exotics but that idea is in the scrap heap (an interesting story but off-topic).

I'd be appreciate the chance to talk, I'm a complete gearhead/carnut but have only scratched the surface on RUF; your first hand info can't be beaten!

I will talk to you about meeting up via PM.

All - thanks for all the help and encouragement. The car quite on the market yet so I'm not going to get my hopes up right now. While we're at it, any other 993-based RUFs for sale out there that I am missing?

Thanks,

Mateo

you are both close to my brother who lives off of Laureles Grade in the Highlands.
In fact I was visiting him just 2 weeks ago when the motorcycle races were going on, man what a crowd! I wanted to have dinner at Vivolo's in Pacific Grove but it was just to crowded to get over there, so we ate at Baja Cantina on Carmel Highlands.

I am not in the market for a car currently, but someday I hope to join the Ruf ranks!

MR MER: GL, hope it works out for you!

To answer your question: YEP. You should get one.

Gotta check it out of course.

CP let me drive his car and it's an unbeleivable rush. I hope this works out for you because if this is a good car, I don't see how you could be disappointed.

DOWORK,

Congrats! I saw your car at C&C on Saturday. Glad to see the dead bugs on the front!

Let's get our cars together and have some fun. Maybe we could meet at RUF sometime.

And make sure you go over to the 993tt forum to register the RUF.

Patrick was that you and your boy in yours?
If so I was probably the last guy at your car before you left.

Yes, that was me. Sorry, did we talk?

Let's grab a cup of coffee before you put that car on the boat... (spoke to Jonathan at RUF this morning)
