As one who is also a bit of a (full) concours head-case, I commend you on your work. Believe me, I *know* what "level of effort" it takes to get the wheel and suspension area looking like that. Your trunk is also fabulous. Make sure you 'beat' the trunk carpet too -- so as to 'physically purge' any dirt that was reluctant to go into your vacuum cleaner. (One show I entered - the judge made me take out said carpeting and after laying it down on the grass - he beat it with his fist, then looked to see if any dirt/dust was suspended in the air (Guyz I can't make this stuff up!)).
Good luck!!!
Gerry
P.S. I drive the blue-bomber, on average 6,000 miles a year -- (and, yes, I also drive her in the rain) -- and enter her in about 3 shows during the summer. The great thing about these cars is that you can drive them so that you can feel your heart beating in your chest -- but then, boy do they clean up nice or what!
Good luck!!!

Awesome, I wish I had my car ready to go... I would just go thru a do-it-yourself car wash and throw some 'wet look' on the tires.
A fine job well done!!!!!!

Hi Andreas,
have you removed the plastic caps from the lower suspension arms to clean under them or have you left them off? Mine fit badly, but apparently they need to be there when the suspension geo is set up.
By the way, just want to take the opportunity to apologise for one of our supposed countrymen, Mr Entwistle. I use "countrymen" loosely, he barely qualifies as a human being.
