I'm contemplating selling my 993 C2S as I purchased a MCoupe in 2007 and I don't have the time to enjoy either car as often as I should. I find that I'll grab the BMW for the occasional commute because I really don't want to see the 993subjected to the flying stones, debris etc.
Description:
98 C2S
23,XXX miles
I am the second owner. The car had a CT title originally. I have all records and a complete service history since day 1 as well as the original window sticker etc - all in a binder.
I've owned the car since 05 and since then have done the HD suspension upgrade w/sways, clear bra, tires, a few other minor mods (still have original parts), Zaino treatments and regular service.
The exterior is a 9 - 9.5/10 and the interior is a 9.5 - no interior wear to speak of and still has that distinctive new 993 smell
No paintwork, no stories.
I've not been very active on the board lately and am a little out of touch with the current market but certainly appreciate the collective wisdom and opinions from the board and would appreciate your input.
What a gorgeous car with all the right options!! I'll swap you - my car is mint, a few nice mods and has 26K miles as well . Anyway, I would expect you can get $45k to $50K (US $) depending on how long you are willing to wait.
GL with the sale Bob. A C2S with 40k km (25k mi) sold yesterday here in Vancouver for $69k CAD after being advertised for two days at Weissach Performance.
TAI2: Cars in Canada command higher values than cars in the US. And good luck finding a 98 C2S with 23k mi for $40-$45k, even in the US, as you had previously alluded to before you changed your post to $45-$50k.
$55-65k, depending on finding the right buyer... there aren't many 98 C2S cars out there w/ less than
30k miles...if you find someone who is really looking for blue, I suspect they would pay $60k+.
I was looking hard when I found my 97... in the end, I decided that the condition and options were more important than the year to me, but I still would have preferred a perfect condition 98... If I ever came across another 98 C2S in silver, white, or red w/ ultra low mileage, pefect condition, etc..I would be tempted to make another trade some day...
