more info needed because 98 S widebody cab is not a porsche OEM item .
Who did the conversion ? Where were parts from ? without that info it can be a run away from it or it could be priceless .
Cheers Guy

I looked at a local (California) white 98 S cab for a Rennlister in Florida. This car had factory S (widebody) options, and we figured it was quite rare. I don't recall any of the details of the transaction (a couple of years ago), but perhaps a few S cabs snuck their way out?

scycle2020,
If you read my post, it raises the question if there were some 98 S Cabs produced by the factory. The one I mention seemed to have all the right factory codes for the wide body. If there were some factory wide body cabs, they would be quite rare, and quite valuable. If it was an aftermarket conversion, the quality of the work will determine if it is worth more or less than a standard 98 Cab.

The Reno car is Beverly Hills Porsche C2S Cab as far as I know. With that being said, is it factory? No. BHP had them done locally, not in Germany and not in the factory. They started out as NB cabs and were redone with S flares at the rear, S rockers, & S bumper covers. These cars are more rare than NB cabs and do command a premium over them. If I am wrong and it isn't a BHP car, it's all gonna come down to the work, either way I guess it comes down to the work.
I did call about the car, they wanted $48k for it which I thought was a great price and that they didn't know what they had.
Do I care for WB 993 cabs? No

Sprintrider checked this car out for lthatch about 2 weeks ago, but I don't know why he lost interest. I would PM one or both of them. It is at Sierra Classics and Imports. If you need any additional help checking it out, I will be back in town on Saturday.
