OK.. Got it guys thanks.

Haven't had a chance to look yet, but is it pretty simple to get the whole assembly out that is pictured in the DIY? Do they come out in a forward motion from the fender?

Xpel precut headlight protection film is highly recommended for Litronic/BiXenon headlamps IMHO.

Yep. Little lever on each side in trunk area. flip it back, releases headlamp assy, flip it to middle to slide headlamp all of the way out. Entire assy slides out. Reverse, rinse, repeat.

Funny little trivia tidbit. If you ever take your 993 to a body shop to have a respray done, "book" time to R/R the headlamp assemblies is .8 hours. Each. Funny but not really.

Mark, perfect... I spent a too much time trying to come up with something like that... not enough coffee to get the synapses firing this morning. OCDreas it is then!

Directions are in the owners manual, I believe.

Yup, they come out very easily. The process is outlined in the manual, however it is generally just a matter of releasing the small U-shaped hool in the sidewall of the front trunk area interior of the headlights. This will unhook the backside/underside of the headlight assembly permitting the headlight assembly to slide forward (relative to the car).

Easy as snot.

OCDreas say: I live my life one microscopic particle at a time. Nothing else matters: not the mortgage, not my career, not my friends and all of their bull****. For those ten seconds, I have lost my mind.

(For those of you just tuning in, Andreas and I are good friends and revel in zinging each other, both here and in real life.)
