Jerry, thank you for asking. Doing great.
But I better get some exercise and loose weight if I want to keep the other one out of trouble.
I never saw photos of your car with the wheels, upload those when you get a chance (or send me a link).
Edit: '87 is gone... ok.

The new bumper is in the paint shop being resprayed. I really wish I could have taken the car in the first time as the paint was too light (orange) when it dried. The head painter and I spent 1.5 hours custom mixing the paint to get it right, this time with the car in the paint shop. I drove it home and removed the bumper and took the bumper back for painting. I'll pick the bumper up on Monday.
I ordered the G2 Brake Caliper paint and spent Friday painting my calipers red.
Photos:
1. The old calipers and black wheels.
2. The taped and sanded (400 grit wet/dry paper) caliper ready for paint.
3. The first coat of paint...yuck!
4. The second coat of paint...
5. The wheel and decals put on the finished caliper.
Prep and cleaning was very important! Cleaned with orange cleaner (2 times) and small wire brush first. The spray brake cleaner that comes with the kit is OK and I used it. After sanding, I cleaned the calipers with a small wire brush and mineral spirits, dried with a clean rag and began painting. Prep and cleaning time was about 40 min. per caliper. Painted the first coat and waited 1.5 hours then the second coat. The second coat requied me to put the paint on thicker and brush it smooth quickly and leave it alone to settle and smooth itself out, don't over brush the paint. After 5 hours the caliper paint was dry and hard. Got the decals from eBlay. I'm pleased.

One last post as the respray on the bumper turned out great and matches perfect. I installed it yesterday and put the fender liners in to finally finish this project.
The Fender liners are the hardest thing to install. Start at the top and work down! The bumper is very easy and only requires a #8 socket wrench and a phillips screw driver to take out the 22 screws.
The required bracket for the new bumper is pictured below...that took me quite awhile to figure out how it is installed to line up with the hole in the new fender liners. 3 hours for the first one and 15 min. for the second one.
The rubber edge liner that goes around the fender liner and in several places around the interior part of the bumper required 8 feet total. (order 10 ft.)
Fun project and total cost about $2k, but what a big difference this bumper makes in the look of the car.
Thanks for everyone's help!!!!

That's an awesome job and write up. Congrats on a job well done!!
Love that bumper, plus back wheels on GR car is classic.
Caliper re-paint is da bomb--deserving of a thread all their own--you short changed yourself
enjoy your 'new' ride

Thanks guys!
Here is some information that may be helpful for others who want to do this themselves. It really is very easy...a 4-5 on a scale of 1 to 10. Hey, I'm a retired art teacher with no mechanical ability at all, so if I can do it...
Euro Turbo Front Bumper Parts and Hardware for Porsche C2 1995-98 911, 993
The part # for the actual Euro Turbo front bumper cover is: 993-505-311-02. The bumper is OEM (Polypropylene) and the May, 2008 price was $1,179.00 from Jeff at Sunset Porsche in Oregon. (No Affiliation) Note: Shipping for the bumper and all the parts and hardware will be expensive, as the price of fuel goes up!
I would not recommend re-using your existing front wheel housing liners as they will NOT fit the new bumper. The Euro Turbo or US Turbo bumper cover requires a different forward wheel well housing liner. I strongly recommend getting these liners and not using the old liners. The rear wheel well liners (for the front wheels) are not removed or changed.
These are the parts I ordered to do a professional install for the euro turbo bumper cover:
1 – 993-504-125-01 liners for front of wheel housing – LH (driver side)
1 – 993-504-126-01 liners for front of wheel housing – RH (passenger side)
1 – 993-505-793-01 liner support bracket
1 – 993-505-794-01 liner support bracket
1 – 993-631-181-00 retaining bow, not necessary
1 – 993-631-182-00 retaining bow, not necessary (these are the metal brackets that are on the factory bumper and if you need them you can take the old ones off of the original bumper and reuse them.
1-- 993-505-543-00 Bumper Trim Piping left
1-- 993-505-544-00 Bumper Trim Piping right
2 – 993-575-740-00 sealing
2 – 993-575-738-00 sealing
2 – 993-575-772-00 sealing – lower (you really do not need this item)
2 – 993-631-141-01 vent drain – splitter bottom drain.
The old ones WILL break when you try and remove them.
999-911-437-40-xxxmm sealing rubber – this is the weather stripping that goes around the wheel housing liners, you will need 8-10 feet. There are also places on the front frame (next to the bumper) of the car that may need this sealing rubber replaced. If so, order 12-15 feet.
Hardware I used: Some of the screws and speed nuts can be reused from the old bumper. However, I would suggest replacing as many as you can or deem necessary. There are some extra nuts and screws here, but you will figure out what they are for, plus it’s good to have a few extras.
12 -- 900-143-159-07 Tap screws for under the bumper and wheel liners
12 – 900-143-113-07 Tap screws 4.2 for under the bumper and wheel liners
6 -- 999-591-850-02 Speed nuts for top of wheel housing liners
2 -- 900-187-103-02 Screws for liner support brackets (993-505-793 & 794-01 above)
18 -- 999-591-699-02 Speed nuts for liner support brackets and…etc.
6 -- 999-591-850-01 Speed nuts for top of wheel housing liners
2 – 900-143-087-00 Screws 4.8x
I installed the clear (white) long side lights (turn signals) Euro lamp housings, and the #s are:
1-- 993-631-061-01
1-- 993-631-062-01
These come with an amber turn signal bulb installed, but these bulbs are “euro” and will not fit
into the US socket on the end of the wire from the car that then fits into the new euro lamp housing.
Go to an auto parts store and purchase 2 US amber turn signal bulbs…they will fit into the car turn signal socket properly.
Total for all of the above including shipping: $1,714.00 US. May, 2008
The Turbo S Ducts with fog lights were purchased from MA Shaw (no affiliation) and they fit perfectly with no cutting, trimming, sanding or fitting problems.
Remember, there is the Euro Turbo bumper and the US Turbo bumper. The US has the amber turn signals and the bumperettes, the Euro does not.
Oh, and one last thing. Strongly consider replacing your 2 resistors for your oil cooler fan and your AC cooler fan while the bumper is off. The oil cooler fan resistor is a snap...15 min, but the AC resistor is a PITA even with the bumper off. Cut a 4 mm allen wrench off on the long side to make it short on both sides and use that to try and get the new resisor nut back on. Good luck!

MIK911,
Beautiful GR/Blk! You recognized what I was after with the black center Cup II wheels!
You gotta LOVE these Carreras...my 87 was hard to part with, but the 993 is a beautiful child of the car in your photo!
Love those Fuchs, 7s and 9s?...Cool!

I don't know what a Euro non-turbo bumper looks like...do you have a photo?
Here is a US turbo bumper (with bumperettes and amber turn signals).

I am assuming (dangerously) that it's the same as a US non-turbo bumper except without the bumperettes. I need a new bumper and am trying to decide between the turbo and non-turbo. My current leaning is Euro non-turbo w/ Euro side-marker lights and the Turbo S ducts. However, I might just go with the Euro non-turbo w/ Euro side-marker lights and leave the stock fogs. All this is contingent upon validation of my assumption.

Reddy,
I spent some time looking at my 993 Essential Companion book this morning and the best I can figure is that a Non Turbo Euro bumper would be the OEM factory bumper for an NB Carrera without the bumperettes and with the white turn signal lenses. If you are going to buy a new bumper anyway, IMO I would get the Turbo style. The price is the same and the look on your car would be fantastic!
