Mrsullivan. So long as you are happy with the job done (and by the looks of things you have every reason to be) then so long as you can afford the $$ then enjoy it and don't look back.
Looks like a high quality job - you get what you pay for for this sort of thing.

Congrats and enjoy.

I try to charge about 60$/hr. I have a hand carwash and detailing shop in Montreal. I would love to detail cars personally.....It is time consuming when you're alone. I do my car and it takes an entire weekend. I think you got an amazing deal. He detailed your car like it's his car!
ENJOY

Spectacular, Jonathan. Well done, as always.

Having just made a long trip this weekend and now facing the prospect of cleaning off the bugs, though, I don't know if I could handle driving my car if I ever put that much (money, effort or both) into making it cosmetically perfect!

That is the great thing about Jonathan. He keeps his cars 100% perfect, but he isn't afraid to drive the darn thing with his Pcar buddies.

Agreed, brother. Your detail job was done better than mine and shows up better on a red car, though.

Inspired by Mr. Sullivan's original post, last week I dropped off my car with a pro detailer recommended to me on the RL Concours forum.

In addition to paint correction (i.e. removal of swirl marks and other imperfections) I am also having the slight wear on the driver's side bolsters repaired/redyed, and I'm having a little bit of curb rash (caused by the PO) taken care of as well.
