I think either would look great (I like the grey a bit more), but for the price I imagine those wheels to be, I'd want to make sure of what the final outcome would be before dropping the coin. Why not post a specific request and ask someone to photoshop these onto a picture of the car so you could better visualize the result?

Cool looking wheels... happy 50th!!!

I can't wait for you to get them. I've never seen a 993 on Dymags before!

I saw those up in fontana a few weeks ago. Unbelievable. The carbon weave really looks good in the sun. Do they carry a warranty? Man, dont park your car at the airport unattended... Usually see these mounted on a Lambo - cant wait to see it on a 993!

Oh darn! They dont offer a 17" fitment. Oh well, I guess Ill live with my cups!

I have seen grey in person on a 997, and grey in pics (997TT forum).

Those things look dangerous....
CarbonFiber wheels arent even used in F1 ....where 'money is no object.'
Cant imagine at the rate I have to straighten the stainless lip on my HREs ...those wheels would be 'disposables.'
I think those are better as a thought, than actually mounted and driven on

Sorry to burst anyones bubble... Its only my opinion.

Thanks for all your comments guys! I really feel at home here! I'll offer to you all a "numeric round of free beers" around the 18th of May to "celebrate" my half century's birthday
KKim it's nice to see you back here (or is it me who's not enough on the forum?) How are you doing?

Well the news is that I ordered the "Gray" ones today...and I can't wait to see them on my car. Could this be the first time on a 993 as a few of you suggest? I saw a few pics on a 997, so I'm pretty confident they'll give a "cool" look on my 993.
SM Racing, I respect your idea, may be you're right, may be not. My car is "only" 300Hp so I believe that if those wheels can stand a 600+ muscle car, they'll make it easily on my 993.

And best of the best, my wife is supporting me in that buy! I understand why we could make it together for more than 25 years now.

Thanks for your help!

I think you missed his point. Steel wheels bend and can be straightened. Carbon fiber wheels break. It lets all the air out and then you need a new wheel. I just trashed all 4 20" wheels on my SL55 on a pothole at night. It happens alot with 20" wheels.

Carbon fiber is excedingly strong and, when laid correctly as I am sure these are, can withstand any normal forces of driving. Only in an accident would there be a problem and that would be the same with any wheel. Without a doubt those are the nicest wheels I have ever seen-and also without a doubt out of my tax bracket.

Remember to post pictures when they are on so I can drool!

make sure the recesses for the lugs are big enough to accommodate lug nuts - remember, the later cars have lug bolts (smaller OD) and the holes in the pix look pretty small
