Hi guys. Time has come to buy my new wheels! I'm turning 50 this May and I decided no to think to much about my wallet and go for the Dymag Carbon.

I searched the forum and saw a few pics of them. I contaceted Andy at Dymag, but still I cannot decide between the flat black or the dark grey colour for the center.

What do you think? Here are the pics and my car.
Any king of photoshop down there?

Very nice. I personally like the grey, but I like contrast. It depends on the "look" you want. The black would be meaner. Either way you win!

I like the Gray... You need contrast to really show off the carbon..

I vote gray. The rest of the guys are correct, you want it to contrast and shout out Carbon Fiber!!!! Either way you go, they are gorgeous wheels, Good luck and Happy Early 50th Birthday.

Maybe I am color blind, but doesn't the black contrast better with the carbon than gray. Maybe the pics are misleading. However, I seconded my own vote of black.

Grey, although its a toughie and either way you win. Black sends a bit of a different message.....menacing, while the gray .....sophisticated, but as you can see from my avatar, I have a prejudice and have been through this very same diatribe. If I could, my wheels would be a bit darker, but still grey (or is it gray????). Let us know!

Wow thanks for all your advices! I have to agree that the contrast given by the gray ones will make them "pop". This was also my initial tough, but sometimes I like the "menacing" look of the black as said Mighty J.
Last week end, I saw a Jaguar XKR with aluminum wheels in dark grey, and I liked it.
So my choice will go for that colour too.
I'll keep you informed, they should arrive within 4 weeks!!!
