Speedometer Shops - Any differences?

I'm about to pull my gauge set and have my Silver OEM style face set installed.
Is there ANY difference between what seem to be the 2 major places to get this done: North Hollywood Speedometer vs. Palo Alto Speedometer?
Has anyone had any problems/ issues with work done at either shop?
Any positives/ specific people to speak with/ your name to drop?
Average turn-around time experienced?
Any difficulty with shipping? Insurance amount declared?
Any OTHER shops recommended? Anyone know of one in St. Louis area?
Suggestions?
NB: I did do a "search" before posting this thread! If I missed a thread that answers these questions, please link me the correct direction.

I used North Hollywood Speedo to fix a short in my clock about 2 years ago. Turn around was about a week, including shipping. I found them easy to work with, the work was good (clock still works!) and reasonably priced.

Russ,
What they all said![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I used PAS for the repair of one clock and it seemed to drag on for weeks. On the other hand, I had North Hollywood refurbish around fifty 993 clocks for me. No complaints whatsoever. Highly recommended.

North Hollywood is the way to go. I have had them work on several gauges in the past and they have done great work. The price was great shipping about a week. They are very nice to talk to over the phone also.

I had NHS fix a broken gauge and they were able to do it overnight for no extra charge. They also do some nice custom work...like putting the clock into the tach so that you can replace the clock with a boost guage
...or I'm sure you could have them mount a V1 remote there too! You can also ask them about reorienting the tach to that redline is at 12 o'clock....I have this on one of my cars...makes it much easier to read and I would do this mod to all my cars (if I had time
).
BTW where are the Gemballa pics

Thanks for all the replies and information. I love Rennlist!![jumper](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/jumper.gif)
I'll contact North Hollywood soon and see if I can get this done soon.
Steve and Andreas - unless you specifically tell me otherwise, I'll be using you guys as referrals...
Hmm, now to remove the guages without damaging my car, or myself...
Q:
A:
Wheels and tires are at least in the same garage... Unfortunately I'm still working on creating the ultimate "barn-fresh" vehicle this year with more away work.
It didn't seem sensible to make these tires flat on the down-side along with my Pirelli/ Cup2s.
Probably another question for another thread, but would I be better off storing the Gemballas/ tires with the tires mounted?
