Default Picked up the car on Friday, shaved front bumper

Oh, it looks SO much nicer! The BIG downside is now all the little rock chips on the rest of the front end show up much more. The shop was a little rushed, so they didn't do a great polishing job, Sunday, I spent 4 hrs in the garage making her all pretty.

I also had my 996 TT wheels refinished, picked them up on eBay for cheap about 2 months ago, come to find out the clear coat was coming off. My guy sanded them down, primed, then painted them up, looks flawless!!

Mike - That looks awesome. Quick question, did the shop dis-assembled the front lip off the bumper?

Yup, they took the whole thing apart & took it down to the bare plastic. They said it was a PITA.

What is a shaved front bumper, and how often do you have to do it? I didn't know the bumper grew hair...

I was wondering the same thing. It looks like some new turn signal lenses were installed. Can you use a Mach 3 to shave a bumper?

Please stop posting pictures of your cars with the clear lenses, turbo ducts, and bumpette delete.

Great shine you've put on that bumper!! Glad you didn't get any dimples from the "spirited" drive Sunday, and nice Martini stripes BTW!!

Looks really good. Great wheels.

I had my splitters replaced and painted. I 'shaved' them myself within a week upon turning into a steep driveway.

LOL, next week comes the new C4S badge, & hopefully my DACH X pipes.

Thanks, it did polish up nicely! The body shops always remove all the wax.

I kept my distance, & was careful, just ate a few bugs. I'm getting clear bra put on in a couple of weeks.

Thanks, oh, that would have pissed me off! I turn into drive ways so slow, & at almost a 90deg angle.

It looks fantastic!
The wheels are looking good too. Really nice looking car.
My Turq Blue cab is in for the same thing right now and the TT is going in right afterwards. I can't wait to get rid of the warts and rock chips.

EDIT: Just went and looked at the blue car and they didn't fill the bumperettes as requested... great.
