Has anyone installed a RSD (Rear seat delete) from a Cab into a Coupe?
I have the opportunity to purchase a mint Rear Seat Delete kit (RSD) from a Cab to install into my Coupe.
Has anyone done the same?
My concern is how it fits into the Coupe.
Is there unsightly gaps on the sides and rear of the RSD where it meets the Coupe's interior panels?
Thanks in advance for your thoughts and pictures.

I do not think there is a difference. I'll try to shoot some pictures tomorrow.
Maybe the reason mine doesn't fit perfectly is that it is a coupe version in my cab...

Just a "thought" from a dealer.
Thanks for posting a picture or two.

The first, and fourth pictures are of the Cabrio RSD for sale.
The second and third pictures are of a Coupe's RSD.
Notice the diffferences at the sides.
The Cab's RSD sides are cut out more.
This is to accomodate the folding top mechanism on each side.
From teh PM's I've received there will be a gap on each side that could easily be flled with a piece of carpet.
Let us know how yours fits.

I finally checked the RSD today and it matches the Cabrio version you show above.
I felt along the sides and it does fit perfectly with the lumps and bumps of the sides.
Are you certain that the 2 different varieties of RSD you show belong in the 993?

Does anyone have pics of the motor and adjoining hardware that operates with the central locking system along with where the mini-harness connects to in the car? Thanks guys.
