Truant, what did your Post Purchase Inspection turn up. Did you ever figure out what that whine or noise was at a certain RPM?

I think that the letter from Victory prohibited Truant from posting results of post purchase inspection.

Now, if one of the members of rennlist was to offer to buy truants car, we might be able to do a pre-purchase inspection on that car. It would give us an idea of how it was delivered from Victory.

Truant - I'd like to buy your car. Can you tell me what condition it is in or what PRE purchase inspection might turn up?

Or Truant could do a "feeler" listing his car with its history (notice, didn't say issues).

I'd love to. Aparantly I don't own this car. Robert Neal and Victory Motorcars have it listed on autotrader.com still. I guess it's a good "bait and switch" car!

Hah, that is way too funny. I am spending time in houston this month. I might go down there and see what percentage of online inventory is actually at his showroom. Let the legend grow.

Do you not have the title to the car?

Yes, he actually did send title in a very timely manor. This is certainly not an issue with him.

That is F@cking Bull****!

Victory Motors engaging in this crap clearly show that they do not give a crap about the customer. This borders on Bait and Switch. I would contact the Texas DMV about this behavior.

I hate it when Realtors do the same thing because it wastes the customer's time.

Wasting people's time?

I had a colleague who used to try to fax people's phone numbers with the fax machine set on unlimited redials when he felt he was wronged by a company. He would use every fax machine in the building.

While I don't really agree, it sure was funny and proved the point.

That really is very funny on the fax machine. I am afraid I am not allowed to contact them, according to my letter from their attorney. I did hit "email a friend" and sent him the link to his own page with my email and name as a return address. I think he'll get the point, LOL

I hope you are kidding. I also hope you are fighting for what you feel is right.
