I use the Porsche shampoo and protectant. Remember to use the protectant spray after a few hours of shampooing. You can find them at your local stealer or order online.

+1. And you can use one of the better plastic cleaners (Maguires ect) on the rear window.

I line the body (and plastic window) of the car w/ tape and newspaper before I use the spray on the top. I let the top dry at least a day before spraying the protectant on.

I like Ragg Top products for the canvas. cleaner and protector.

For regular cleaning of the plastic I like a product called Plexus. Reallt seems to do a good job of getting dirt loose before you wipe with a mircofiber. Avoids adding scratches.

Yes, couldn't remember the name Plexus but it's a good product. If you don't find it in auto parts stores try better motorcycle shops, used on both bike windscreens and helmet face shields.

As for how often to clean the top, I've been told not to wash it unless it's dirty. Reapply protectant when water stops beading up on canvas.

i hand wash the car at least once a week with very mild car wash detergent; i use a california brush in between washings.....

for the top i have been using a damp sponge with just a tad of detergent as i was always told excess soap is not good for the canvas.....

I have a marble grey top. I replaced the original last summer. I have found it almost impossible to keep a light grey top clean. When the original top was 10 years old it looked .... hmmm .... 10 years old. One thing I have found through the years to be maybe the best at cleaning the top is plain laundry detergent. I notice that the 4 above all have black tops. What color is your top check six?

The Raggtop product has worked out great for me. Buy the kit of cleaner and protectant to save some $. Follow the directions and you'll have great results or call the company with questions, they are very helpful. I use Meguiar's PlastX for the rear window with very good results.

Cleaning/protectant of the top is once a year for me. My top nevers see's the light of day, it's either covered with boot cover or covered in the garage. Yes - A Garage Queen.
