1996 Porsche C4S For Sale SF Bay Area: No affiliation!
Hey guys, Public Service Announcement:
Found this listing as I am trying to price my C4S for sale. Love the color combo, sport seats, and other features. Please, I am not affiliated to the seller, so if he doesn't sell you the car, it's not my problem

Hey Ken, I read the listing on Pelican, it looks like he works at Fantasy Junction & that he has tried selling it previously.
He also has the "caps" for the rear seat when installing a child seat (the small rectangular plastic tabs you can see above the fold-down half seats).

No affiliation but-
Ive seen it, -like it.
Its an excellent car, I just got tied up or wouldve boutght it.
The owner's good people too, car fanatic -no exspense spared -has lotsa toys.
For somone looking for a nice car in a unique color its a really good car.
All the panel paint is orig and clean, nicely optioned with crested sports seats, hi fi sound, partial leather -and fresh SO2 rubber.
Oh -and H&R coilovers as well.
Its been up for sale off and on only because the guy clearly doesnt 'have to' sell it, no wierd stuff beyond that.
Its straight up.
Actually -I still want it.

Looks like a beautiful car and I could be interested. I took a look at the maintenance records on Pelican and wow, he has dropped some big bucks into it every year or so. Or, is he just fixing the typical things that are expected to wear out at that mileage and in the Porshce world its just the cost of having the coolest car on the planet. Seems to be somewhat of a drawback that he doesn't have records prior purchasing the car. It sounds like he is an upright person, but do you think that he is selling just because he is tired of the "what could go wrong next" syndrome and wants to make room for a better toy?

2 things regarding the comments-
First- The main thing I believe people run into here in CA is getting the car to pass emissions.
So though these cars would be fine mechaniclly at +50k miles, they wont pass smog due to oil getting in the firing chamber.
Personally while shopping, Ive seen top ends ie valves done to for this, and on the blue car the looks like it was acheived by putting in new injectors. It also has a fresh clutch which is nice to have done.
The other thing- It was clear to me that the owner isnt selling because its some timebomb, which I dont think it is at all, -but, my understanding was he has some other high dollar toy projects in the works and kinda needed the garage space by the time the next toy was done.
I think the car could be bought sight unseen and not dissapoint at all. I only had to drive 20min to see it, but its nice.
anyway...my 2 cents.
