I just bought a '96 993 from a fellow Rennlister. Very interesting to read about other hobbies among the 993 crowd, and really funny to see how many 993ers enjoy similar hobbies.

For me:
- guitar playing/songwriting - http://www.cdbaby.com/dgmattingley
- hi-fi: Decware Zen triode, Technics SL-1200, Klipsch Heresy IIs
- cooking: http://swinefood.blogspot.com/

And add me to the list of coffee addicts enjoying the Technivorm Moccamaster.

cycling has been it for me for the last 16 years or so. I ride/race pretty much every discipline...road/mountain/cyclo cross/destination. Almost got Porsche money into the bikes, but it's a healthy hobby.

For the heart anyway, not the wallet.

Road and mtn shown atop the car, most recent disc crosser also shown right after the build.

Hey Mike, you are out Auburn way right? What race is that shown?

Glad to know there are cyclists over here. I am cramping heavily in this pic which was after a 25 km climb. See the pain! Still trying to figure out how I can mount my cyclops rear bike rack. Ordered a look 695!

And my Ducati 998s Ben Bostrom #142 of 155 with only 7k kms!

Yeah cyclists are crazy! Imagine some spend $4k on a set of cf lightweight wheelsets!! Or how about $300 on brake calipers? Shaving gms costs big bucks.

Crusing around the mountains Spring to Fall in this beast.

I dabble in a handful of different hobbies---snowboarding, photography, and may start field training our new 11 week old Yellow Lab---Bode.

Champ (my profile pic) died unexpectedly a week ago of what is believed to be a stroke or something brain related. He was a great dog and was in perfect health up until the day he turned south was gone in 2 days after medical condition occured.
