Private Track Day at Talladega GP- interested?
I'm trying to organize an early Spring mid-week single day track event at TGP for those in Ga/Al that might be interested in joining in. We need at least 10 and I would say a max of 20 participants, though no more than 10 on track at any given time.
Depending on numbers the cost is quite reasonable and will include a full day of track access (and the cost of mandatory parameds in attendance).
If you haven't been, its a decent little track (less than 2 hrs from Atl) and great for testing your set up.

Chris- TGP is 1/3 of even the basic cost of RA.
Its also much closer than RR and CMP to the Atl metroplex area and guys in Al and even Tn.
We'd love to have you but its not going to work for everyone I guess.
p.s. Snow was a semi-joke based on getting snowed out of RA "up North" (Northern Ga, that is).

We are now considering dates; what about Feb 12 or13th? Price for 20 is $175 all in.

UPDATE: Target date now set at Tuesday Feb. 12th
Cost will be a function of the numbers we get to commit (payment to Derek by Paypal). The parameters are:
If we get only 10 drivers (the min.), cost is $325 for up to +6 hours of drive time.
If we get 20 drivers( the max), cost will fall to $162.50 for at least +3 hours of track time.
Again depending on numbers we will run one or two groups and try to handicap drivers/cars so that track cars on slicks will not be running with pure stockers on street tires.
Passing allowed at appropriate spots.
