Hallelujah! Now you can move on to greener pastures. If you extend your budget to low $20K's, you should be able to find a real 993 (with higher miles), but hopefully still decent. Good luck on your quest.

okay, i'm back. it's a piece of **** from A-Z. worth $7 IMHO and I still wouldn't buy it. looks like a drawing of a car I made in 1st grade, only brought to real life. seller is still nice though, just ignorant. knows nothing about porsches.
if you guys need more info, i'll be happy to share. peace.

I think you are just yanking our chain based on the # of replies here. I agree with someone else. You can buy a decent 84 Carrera for about $14k and you would own one of the best Pcars ever made. You will regret that POS within a week is my bet!
I looked a knock off 959 built on a 72---how to ruin a wonderful 911. It was straight and ran ok. I thought $6k was correct but since he was asking $12 we could not come to terms. Think he still owns it.
Buy a real car. A while back I picked up a 74 2.2 914 for $2k. Better than that car.

trust me, i'm done with that car. my budget isn't so much an issue as having something unique. i've already had 2 real 993 cars and they were awesome but i want to try something different. so right now, i'm investigating this 76 912 v8 conversion. it was done right, but i'm just trying to figure out it's worth.
here is the link to the other thread i started in the 911 section in case any of you guys want give me your two cents. much appreciated.
