Seriously? I will enjoy reading this particular issue. Nice looking car, now referred to as a cover car

To be honest, neither did I I never thought I would have this much interest in my car. Darn, maybe I sold another one too cheap...

Yep ... first time.

I started getting emails about a week and a half ago from people that had already received their Panos ... interesting how the USPS works!

Thanks again!

Good luck Chris, I know how it feels. I hope we can welcome you to the TT fold - we could use a bushing-making guy like yourself!

May I ask - what's a triple square tool?

Congrats Chris! And best of luck with the 993TT.

It's funny, whenever a longtime poster suddenly sells his car... there's typically the one reason why. Well, actually two little reasons (a pair of turbos).

Well, I ended-up flying home this afternoon. There are some unresolved issues with the car unbeknownst to me. There is still hope, but some things need to happen first.

chris- don't worry you'll find the right chariot at some point. some boost is in your future!

when I flew to miami the other day I got some really weird looks from security-

"it's a radar detector"
"that's for tire pressures..."
"that's not what it looks like"

I should have brought some handcuffs to really mess with them...haha.

My best wishes on your search for a suitable replacement, too. Did you have much action on your former car before a deal was made? How many were looky-loos?

I honestly had three to four serious people waiting. Then, the tech who did the PPI wanted to buy it should it become available. I was floored!

Chris,

You could not have had a better set of owners to take her off your hands.. Mike will no doubt baby her.

Congrats and good luck with the hunt.

Aw Chris... this was the worst possible scenario... no pcar!

I still have my fingers crossed on the black TT. I keep looking here... watching, waiting.
Good luck!
