Chris,

Congrats on the sale and on the new one to come. I hope you keep hanging around here, I hear that the TT forum is kind of boring...

Is the new owner a Rennlister?

Thanks all! The new owners just drove off a few minutes ago. He is a Rennlister, mostly lurks. I hope they are happy with it and it brings many many miles of performance!!

Congrats Chris. You are going to love the boost. Just watch the right foot, mine has already gotten me into deep doo-doo with the authorities.

Congrats on the sale Chris. Nice it is staying in the Rennlist family. We'll be watching for your next post with pics of a TT attached. You've done a nice job with your last two 993s. It should be fun to watch what you do with the next one. Good luck with the hunt.

TT? 993 TT? 996 TT? 997TT?

Sorry if I missed the answer somewhere, but... which incarnation might you be getting? Just curious. Glad your sale went smooth. Good luck with the new one.

Steve, is there any other than a 993 TT? Yes, going to look at a 993 TT tomorrow.

Here are the new owners, just about to drive off. Kinda sad really, this is quite a nice car, especially so that it has 102k miles on her with most of her original paint still.

Ok -- starting to pack for tomorrow's journey --

Shuttle picks me up at 5:30am for a 7:40am flight to PHX.

Travelling light as possible with just the bare essentials
Magazines for the flight
tripple square tool (hope I dont need it)
DME relay (hope I dont need it)
Flashlight (hope I dont need it)
V-1 (again, hope I dont need it)
Garage Door Opener (I hope I get to use it)

The last time I travelled to pick up my black 993, I brought all kinds of tools only to have some of them confiscated at the airport security.

Chris,

Good luck with your purchase. It would be very sad for me and a whole heap of others if you no longer had a 993. We would all miss your knowlegeable, generous and enthusiastic support.

Take care,
