Default Today, she goes...

Here are some images of my car. I spent the day yesterday polishing her up for the new owners who fly in this morning to take her away.

Why does ones car always look its best right before its sold..? Makes me wonder why I am doing this...

Yes, Chris, why are you doing this??? Is there a Swift/Mazda race car in your future?

Chris

It seems like yesterday when you joined Rennlist...I remember the trials and tribulations you went through when you bought the "95 993 Yellow C2 ......the knowledge you acquired since then has always been generously shared...

You are a gentleman and a good citizen

Thank you. It does seem like not long ago. Time certainly flies.

And yes, I have this bad habit of buying something then take it all apart to make it even better. My Dad raced funny cars in the late 60's -- I remember those racecars in our garage. He would tear down the racecar every week, and I would tear down the lawnmower. Trouble was, I would somehow misplace his tools and the mower wouldnt run afterwards

Congrats on the sale, and while you will definitely miss your Carrera (still miss my 96 Carrera 2 Cab) a TT is about the only thing you can replace it with that will make your heart smile even bigger!!!

Hopefully I will be welcoming you into that club here soon...

Great looking C2. Glad to hear the only reason it's leaving is to make room for another. Good luck and keep us posted.

Chris,

Old Army saying, "the two best posts in the world, are the Post you just left and thePost where you are going next" Replace the word Post with the word car, and you have the awnser to your question as to why you are selling.

Take heart in that you have a lottttttttttttttttt of company.

Looks gorgeous Chris! And the only justifiable reason to sell her (IMHO) would be for a TT (or a 997 GT3 )
