I have nothing but great things to say about Fabspeed MS. They have always treated me well and have provided me the best customer service. I have some of their exhaust components on my 993 and the car sounds better then I could have ever imagined. The power increase is noticable and the weight savings is obvious by simply holding their products in your hands.

Anybody have issues with the cat bypass pipe scraping? Seems like it might.

No, and I don't think that there are too many 993s lower than mine

Bill, you were kind of my acid test...if you don't scrape I don't think it's possible!

Thanks for the input. How much louder than stock does this make it. I have 2" LPMM's and could always use a little more sassiness

Hi Adam,

It's not a direct comparison but when I added 100 cell sports cats to RSRs they got a fair bit louder. No issues inside the car though it's a bit loud standing next to the exhaust.

Cheers,

David

David - did you get the cats on ebay in the US, and did you used to come to the PH Porsche breakfasts at the Ace?
If so you're the reason i'm now trying to ditch my standard cats for 100 cells or a cat bypass :-)

Anyone have the 200 cell cats straight into the Supercups? I am wondering if it is too loud or if I should go with Max-flos instead of the Supercups......I am not afraid of loud and proud, but I think obnoxious is not me either........

Hi Sideways,

I got mine in the US from a fellow Rennlister who had got them and then found out that he had the later manifold flange.... I still do go to the Ace but have my car in storage whilst we do an extension. You need to get some sports cats. Chris (in NC)'s Dach sports cats are definitely worth a look; lovely workmanship, having seen some of his silencers.

Cheers,

David

FWIW, I was running the supercups on my 993 track car. I had repeatedly received comments that the car was one of the better sounding cars on the track at any given time. (I think my competition (soundwise) was coming from a Ferrari)

Due to some rear-end work, I'm removing the cats and going with a fabspeed sport cat and supercup muffler/pipe for the track. I've been nothing but content with the fabspeed exhaust on my car.

Having said that, I'm considering something special for the 993tt.

So do you have SuperCups & By-Pass. Can anyone comment on that? I too have Supercups and LOVE the sound. Yet I'm considering making that sound, although music to my ears, louder by adding bypass pipes. Will it change the tone? Or just make it louder.
FWIW I agree I've had nothing but positive experiences w/ FabSpeed.
