Rennlist member checks out the car - it's better than Carfax, it's Renfax.

Got it.
Good, but not excellent, car (Porsche) knowledge. Would be happy to take a look if you need assistance. I was actually in Newark today.

Tony - feel free to point JD towards my list.

Edited to link to the list: https://rennlist.com/forums/showthre...t=ultimate+ppi

It's for a turbo, but a lot of it applies to any 993, just to give JD an idea of what to look for if he does this.

I used to live in Newark and was a member of the PCA there. I still have some contacts there if you want me to email them. You may post on the Rennlist 911 board as most from the club were active there.

Gregg Wilson (as of 2 yrs ago) was the Lead Service Tech at Winner Porsche. Gregg knows and races the air cooled 911's. The dealership itself wasn't great to deal with but Gregg is a stand up knowledgeable guy.

Edit: Just read the comment about not being a 993.......little slow.

Is this Gregg Wilson who has the chocolate brown Euro 911SC who used to race in the old F class? If so, he's an unbelievably fast driver.
