Happy with my early build too. Wished I didn't have the basket handle but it grows on you - kinda kitchy.

Nov '94 here. I specifically wanted an early 1995.
I just noticed, Black Ice and I have the same car it looks like, with sophisticated Slate Gray. :-)

Everyone seems to like the split grill + handle on my `95... but then again maybe they're just trying not to hurt my feelings. Either way, I like the look.

I looked long and hard for a 95 due to all the negativity associated with the early OBD2 issues. It may be down about 10 horsepower stock, but I have found that they respond well to light modifications.

I have owned two 95' (late-model runs however) and they are great. No OBDII issues and only ONE O2 Sensor. Who cares about 15 or so HP with VarioScram. They all come with crappy headlites (unless you get one with the LItronics option) which U can fix for cheap. BTW: get a GR one while U are at it - they are the quickest

Default What is drive block?

I've got an early 95 cab which has been a real sweetheart. I'm just curious, though, about the mention of "drive block" on later cars. What the heck is that? Thanks, Jeff

I have a September 94 build and LOVE my car. No issues to speak of except those pesky tirewalls at VIR cause you to buy new fenders, bumpers, and quarter panels... I've put 6k track miles on mine in the past year.

I got rid of the basket handle tho

I am the first owner of a 09/94 993 C4 Cab with 6.000 miles - I guess it is one of the first C4 Cabs in the US... the car is a joy to drive and it is quicker than my (sold in the first 1/4 of this year) 993 Cab (C2) 04/96 Varioram with 34k miles. Both are great cars but the 94 C4 was always my favorite.

Thinking about the split grill. I'm one who likes the basket handle. Just taste I guess when it comes down to it. 95 is great!!! Love the car. Easier to tune also.
