Default Is there any reason to shy away from an early 95?

I'm not looking for a discussion on 95 vs. 96-98, just the differences between early 95 and later 95. For reference, below is an early 95 engine which I understand shared some 964 parts:

Nope. The early ones did not have Drive Block and did have the basket handle third brake light. Some hate DB but it's never bothered me on my late model build, 1995 993

Thanks! I really should have put more effort into selling earlier this year.
Now I'm drooling over another 993 and need garage space quick!

No. I have an early 95 and no issues to speak of and actually like the basket handle.

Here is a difference between early 95 and late 95, and a good reason to stick to early 95

I believe I have the "newest" 95 C4's on the board. July 95 build.

I had a july 94 and have a spring 95. Hate the drive block on the later build but liked the basket handles. Both are good. (Has anyone done the drive block jumper thing that is supposed to override?)
