Coleman -
Are you referring to the HID SCMR16 in your link ?

I am looking for a good light for my Turbo S ducts. I am aware of the Hella Micro, but am interested in exploring all the lighting options.

Thx for any info.

Yes- I'll post a decent pic soon- They are really nice, but I'm not sure where you are planning to mount yours- may fit, may not.....

You mean not in the standard fog light location but somewhere lower behind the plastic grill? Were these fog lights or driving lights? Thanks

I just installed HIDs in my MY94 993 cab using the slim ballast from this seller in Hong Kong and 4300k H1 lights:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWN:IT&ih=010

As others have noted the bulb opening needs to be enlarged slightly by a few mm using either a dremel or rat-tail file. I used the "plug and play" install method using bullet crimp connectors so the mod is fully reversible (since a new law was just passed that makes aftermarket HIDs illegal in Hong Kong), and easily fitted the ballast and igniter in the the light housing. Took less than an hour including cleaning up the inside of the light housing and I took my time with the dremel.

I'm so glad I can spend your money for you - LOL. This upgrade is great and one of the least expensive ones I've done so far. You'll love the increase in light, it really makes a big difference. So what else is on your list this year? I'm thinking engine mounts, maybe Wevo instead of RSR, for the small $ and a new suspension for the big $, PSS9 or HD.

Well done
I am running Hella HID projectors in the Turbo-S fog lights with similar results.

Inside the boot, to the furthest point forward, on the "tube" you can drill into where you see in the photo.. so, the nut is in the trunk.. I then sealed it up with silicone.
