Is the "ferry" an intentional typo? If so, very clever!

Great pics Steve, thanks for sharing. Always interesting to hear about your adventures!

Bty, what do you think of the Acura RL (wifey's car??)? I test rode one last year and while it was not the most exciting car to drive (at least that was my first impression), I'd be curious to hear what your impressions are of this car.

My daily driver is a '97 540i and is hitting 110k miles and I'm getting tired of the bi-monthly mandatory $1k repairs that come from either some part of the cooling system going out or those blasted window motors conking out! Great driving car, but man oh man these little things are getting to me.

Cheers everyone and happy holidays!!

We love the Acura RL and would highly recommend it. It's not the most compelling looking car, but it sure does handle great for a Japanese car and it's features for the money are incredible. We really needed AWD and it fits the bill beautifully.

To JasonVW who asked "How did all the cat problems work out?? "

Well, $45k later, we finally got rid of all the cat problems that the previous owners had "left for us" from their 10+ stray cats. That was enough money to buy another 993

Here's the new floors, paint, etc...

Had to redo all the floors due to cat issues

They had carpet upstairs that was cat destroyed so we had to change to hardwood.

Our daughter would have preferred comfortable carpeting in her room but we couldn't risk it due to us having 4 cats and if our cats smelled their previous cats through carpeting, well... you get the idea.Had to do hardwood. She'll get used to it.

Awaiting carpet runner for the steps...

Does anyone share liability given the amount of money you had to spend? I would be furious! However, I dont know how well it was covered up. Sorry to hear you had to spend so much money..

Well, we were furious, for a full month while having the place made habital but now we're finally getting over the anger. We could potentially sue the realtors for covering most of the damage up, but we just don't want to deal with it anymore and spend anymore money pursuing it. The owners gave us $2500 at settlement tpwards the clean up and we're too disgusted with them, the realtors and everyone else involved to do anything furthur.

We only hope that karmic retribution catches up with them all one day. We're officially out of it, even though there was fraudulent misrepresentation. We can't stomach the thought going after them and ... losing.

Nice house and garage... And poster collection too!
I remember when I moved in to my new neighborhood,
first ones to notice my p-car was all the ladies in the area(waving "hi"s)
then later their men start saying "Hello" - LOL
Go figure...

Thanks for sharing.

Interesting to see how the Carrera is dwarfed by the RL.
